Buttons
The Razer DeathAdder v2 has 8 programmable buttons on it. If you are an MMO gamer, you can consider it as paltry; however, it would be good for the majority of games. You can set different DPI levels (5 custom) with a single click. Additionally, you can assign a secondary function to some of the buttons so that it will work as if it has more buttons.
The scroll wheel is a tactile one; so it means that there will only be up and down just like traditional mouse wheels.
Sensor
The sensor of Razer DeathAdder is an optical one that can go as high as 20K. However, here big numbers do not mean much. The technology behind it speaks louder than the numbers. So, compared to the Logitech G502’s 16K, it does not give much higher responsiveness and sensitivity. They are of equal quality.
Adjustability
I would like to start with its cable as it affects the gameplay performance more than anything here. Normally, I dislike cords but their technology is at a quite good level here, resulting in no drags and wireless-like performance.
You can also adjust the RGB lighting and set some profiles for different games or different users which is a great feature.
One thing I do not like about this mouse is that it is too lightweight. Some people can see this as a positive thing but remember that it does not allow powerplay and diminish durability in the long run.
